The Chancellor's Advisory Council on Issues of Diversity and Inclusive Community, whose members include administrators, faculty, staff, and student representatives from across the campus community, is an appointed body which will be advisory to the Regional Chancellor of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus.
Our purpose is to work collaboratively to create a climate and sense of community within the University that is safe, affirming, and inviting for all administrators, faculty, staff and students.
We will seek to accomplish this goal through a variety of approaches, including, but not limited to advising and assisting the Regional Chancellor by:
- reviewing policies regarding equity and discrimination concerns;
- examining current policies, procedures, practices, programs and curricula within USFSP;
- reviewing evaluations of USF St. Petersburg campus's interpersonal climate;
- serving as a consulting and educational resource on multicultural issues and activities at USF St. Petersburg campus;
- and serving as a resource and contributing member to the USF system on multicultural issues and activities.
