Abstract

On September 11, 2001, life in the United States of America and around the world changed forever. Tenorists hijacked four commercial jets and flew them into the World Trade Center towers in New York, the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C., and into a barren field in rural Pennsylvania. Nearly 3,000 people were killed that day, marking the deadliest single-day tragedy in American history.
