Abstract

Excerpt: “…the focus of our article, which will examine how cultural context influences the well-being of the elderly and how it creates a socially grounded perception of what constitutes well-being in old age. The fabric of values, perceptions, human relationships, and socially engineered behavior that clothes people as they pass through the older adult years will be considered.”
