Experiential learning is an umbrella term for learning by doing. But what exactly is the doing part? This workshop focuses on civic engagement as a means to foster knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference in the community.

Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan is the Founding Director of the Center for Civic Engagement here at USFSP. As a strong proponent of the Citizen Scholar Model, Judithanne will share her strategies to incorporate civic engagement activities as a direct means to support experiential learning.
